Truganina crime suspect
Police are searching for a man who attempted to break into two homes on Clovelly Crescent, Truganina, about 9.20am on August 23. Police said the man ran to a waiting grey or silver Hyundai iX30 hatchback afterwards. The man is perceived to be African in appearance, aged in his mid-20s with a slim build and a blonde mohawk hairstyle.
eYouth Crew opportunity
Young people will be trained in creativity, media, project management and online skills as part of a new Wyndham council initiative. The state government has provided the council with $440,000 to fund the eYouth Crew, for residents aged between 16 and 25 years. Anti-burglary fridge magnet
The Wyndham Community and Education Centre has received a $10,000 grant from the state government’s Community Safety Fund. The centre will use the money to develop a My House Is Safe fridge magnet aimed at residents from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The magnets will list tips to help prevent residential burglaries.
