Authorities are investigating a single-storey house fire in Sunshine on Monday afternoon.
Fire crews attended the blaze at Ballarat Road and Duke Street just before 2pm. It started in a corner of the front lounge room.
A portion of the lounge room and a section of the roof was severely damaged.
Nobody was inside the house at the time of the fire which was brought under control in 10 minutes.
