The Brimbank Writers and Readers Festival, from September 5-16,
encourages a love of writing and literature, celebrates diversity and
creativity and promotes life-long learning. Free events include panel
discussions and author talks; interviews; workshops for kids, teens and
adults; readings and storytelling.

The Brimbank Writers Award winners will be announced at a ceremony on September 16.

LITERARY TRIVIA

Do you know J.R.R. Tolkien from J.K. Rowling? Or Dickens from
Dahl? Have fun and test your knowledge, with prizes to be won. Join a
group on the day or gather your book-loving friends. Morning tea
provided. This free event is presented as part of the Brimbank Writers
and Readers Festival. From 10.30am-12.30pm on September 6 at 45 Kings
Road, St Albans.

Brimbank Community Ballroom Dance Club holds dances on the first Saturday of every month. Free coffee, tea and biscuits.
