Wordsmiths

The Brimbank Writers & Readers Festival, from September 5-16, encourages a love of writing and literature, celebrates diversity and creativity and promotes life-long learning.  Free events include panel discussions and author talks; interviews; workshops for kids, teens and adults; readings and storytelling.  The Brimbank Writers Award winners will be announced at a ceremony on September 16.

Story time

Matteo the Storyteller will captivate children of all ages with tales exploring the magic of nature.  2pm-3pm, September 8, at Brimbank Park, near the Leaping Lizard Cafe. This free event is presented as part of the Brimbank Writers and Readers Festival.
