A MAN who stabbed another male during a fight in Cairnlea on Tuesday evening is wanted by the police after fleeing the crime scene.
Victoria Police believe the two men involved were driving west on Neale Road in Cairnlea when they both stopped in the right-hand turning lane at the intersection of Station Road at 6pm.
They then left their cars and began fighting, and a man in his 50s was stabbed. He was subsequently taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
The offender fled the scene in his car, and is yet to be found.
