St Albans duo rack up over fifty thefts 

POLICE have arrested a 29-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl, both from St Albans, for a series of thefts from liquor stores and supermarkets across Victoria. 

Investigators believe they were involved in up to 55 thefts between March and June. The woman was charged with one count of theft and returned to custody for breaching parole. 

The teenager was charged with four counts of theft and two weapon offences. She appeared before a children’s court and was bailed to reappear at a later date.
