A ST Albans contractor has been found guilty of illegally removing canopy trees in Warranwood.
The man was fined $21,000 in the Magistrates Court in May.
Maroondah’s planning scheme requires a permit for any removal of trees or vegetation within the significant landscape and vegetation protection overlay.
