A MAN with a gunshot wound is in surgery after being delivered to Sunshine Hospital overnight.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was dropped off at the hospital in Furlong Road about 3.15am. The driver of the car then left, a police spokeswoman said.
The victim was not seriously injured, and hospital staff do not consider his injury to be life-threatening.
Police were unable to say where the victim’s injury was.
Police are investigating the incident. Detectives are expected to speak to the victim once he is out of surgery.
It comes three weeks after the naked body of a man in his 20s was dumped across the road from the hospital, on Majorca Street, St Albans.
