POLICE have arrested a man caught driving a car with stolen number plates in Sunshine.
Police said the Blackburn man, 37, was intercepted on Cairnlea Road about 10pm on April 25.
Inspector Gilbert said his car was impounded. The man was also above the legal alcohol limit.
He will be charged with serious driving offences and possessing the proceeds of crime and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court.
