Mary’s living the Hi-5 life

TAYLORS Lakes resident Mary Lacaris has been revealed as children’s group Hi-5’s newest recruit.

Ms Lacaris is a graduate from musical theatre course Showfit at Centrestage Melbourne and recently finished filming Hi-5’s latest film.

“Being able to play with children around the world by dancing, singing and putting smiles on children’s faces is all I’ve ever wanted to do,” she says.

Ms Lacaris joins Stevie Nicholson, Lauren Brant and newcomers Ainsley Melham and Dayen Zheng.

Hi-5 executive creative director Julie Greene says the new members were carefully selected to reflect Australia’s multicultural society.

Hi-5’s Some Kind of Wonderful opened at Hoyts Cinemas this Saturday.
