VOLUNTEERS like Francesca Thomasi and Tina Sambrook are preparing for Burnside Retirement Village’s annual fete.
Organiser Marlene Gorman says it will include a white elephant stall, secondhand electrical goods, furniture, a raffle, Devonshire teas, sausage sizzle, homemade cakes and preserves.
“There’s something on offer for the whole family and it gives older residents the chance to interact with the community and enjoy the day with family and friends.”
The fete is from 9am-3pm on March 24 at the retirement village, 16 Nicol Avenue, Burnside.
