A MAN has been arrested after police fired shots at a stolen car that was speeding towards them last Monday morning.
The incident occurred at 12.40am after officers saw the car driving down Chifley Drive, Maribyrnong.
A short time later, two women, believed to have been passengers in the vehicle, arrived at the Western Hospital, one with a gunshot wound to her leg.
Police arrested a Footscray man, 24, who was remanded in custody.
