Man charged over St Albans attack

A MAN who fled after a December 7 siege in St Albans has been charged. 

The Murrumbeena man, 26, was arrested by detectives in Devonshire Road, Sunshine, about 4.30pm on December 9. 

He was charged with intentionally causing serious injury and possessing a drug of dependence. 

Officers had earlier stormed a house in Grant Street, St Albans, after a man allegedly slashed another man across the neck. 

The offender will face Melbourne Magistrates Court at a later date.
