THIS Thursday, Coles officially opens the doors of its new Brimbank superstore, unveiling a new-look market-style supermarket and providing an additional 200 jobs.
“Coles Brimbank is one of more than 60 stores across Australia to launch the fresh, affordable and stylish MIX clothing range which caters for every customer,” said Coles Brimbank store manager Rob Sergi.
“MIX pieces won’t break the weekly shopping budget either. Most items are under $25.”
As well as MIX, Brimbank locals will have access to a fresh produce section with fruit and vegetables on ice, an extensive seafood selection, and fresh bread daily from bakers also preparing cookies and scones. An in-house butcher will serve ‘no-added-hormone’ beef and tender cuts of meat upon request.
A new delicatessen has a variety of specialty cheeses, while Coles Curry Pot offers ready-made curries and Thai and Italian dishes, delivering meals on the go for hassle-free nights in.
A new entertainment section with the latest books, magazines and new-release DVDs will cater for family downtime. Mr Sergi has been with Coles for 18 years and is looking forward to opening day when shoppers can experience the new store’s fresh offerings.
“We’re proud to be able to bring locals such an extensive Coles range, including many international food choices. We’ve so many great offerings for our customers who will love the new shopping experience,” Mr Sergi said.
Coles Brimbank, with nine self-serve checkouts, is at Brimbank shopping centre, corner Station and Neale roads, Deer Park. The store will open from 6am-midnight daily.
