Lancefield features in a new advertising campaign that encourages Melburnians to rediscover country Victoria. The Wander Victoria regional tourism campaign was launched by Premier Daniel Andrews last week and includes vision of a farmers market in the town’s High Street plantation. Woodend hit by graffiti

Police are hunting vandals responsible for a spate of graffiti in Anslow Street, Woodend. A smiley face and the words ‘Spaz 3214’, ‘Coery’ and ‘Rabbit Trap’ were sprayed on items including a car door, shop wall, planter pot, give-way sign, letter box and gate, between 10.30pm on February 26 and 11am the next day. Cycle on for sick kids

More than 40 cyclists will ride into Woodend and Gisborne as part of Ronald McDonald House’s Ride for Sick Kids. The group will arrive at Holgate Brewhouse, Woodend, about 3.30pm on Tuesday, March 8, from Bendigo. They then head to a fundraiser at Pitruzzello Estate at 7pm.
