Caroline Springs, Braybrook-Albanvale and North Sunshine are among clubs fielding women’s sides in the Western Region Football League this season.
Competition will kick off April 8.
The division 1 competition will span 15 rounds and the division 2 competition across 17 rounds, before a four-week finals series commences on August 20.
The grand finals for each competition has been slated for either September 10 or 11.
In division 1, Werribee Centrals and Manor Lakes will kick off the season on April 8 under lights.
Yarraville Seddon will play Spotswood the following day and Hoppers Crossing and Caroline Springs will round out the opening.
In division 2, Braybrook-Albanvale will face Laverton on April 9 in the first round. North Sunshine will play West Footscray and Wyndhamvale will play Point Cook Centrals.
Point Cook has a bye in round one. Point Cook will kick off its season on Anzac Day against Point Cook Centrals.
