The wins keep piling up for high-flying Williamstown in the Victorian Football League.
The second-placed Seagulls made it six victories on the trot when they pulled away from North Ballarat in the second half to record a 56-point win at Burbank Oval on Sunday.
It could have been an even bigger margin had the Seagulls not wasted a stack of chances in front of goal, turning just 16 of 38 scoring shots into goals.
They broke away from the Roosters in the third term, but could only register 5.10 for the quarter.
Jack Dorgan, Lachie Schultz and Nick Meese were the standouts for Williamstown, while Arryn Siposs and Ben Cavarra kicked three goals each on a day when the side had 10 individual goalkickers.
Williamstown will travel to Windy Hill to play Essendon on Saturday at the earlier midday timeslot.
Meanwhile, Footscray went down to Casey Demons by 13 points at a chilly Casey Fields on Saturday night.
The Bulldogs struggled to find avenues to goal with Clay Smith the only multiple goalkicker on the night with two.
Nick Jamieson had the ball on a string with 29 disposals, while Lukas Webb, Tom Campbell, Matthew Boyd and Lewis Young were prominent.

In the TAC Cup, Western Jets experienced the joy of victory, beating Eastern Ranges by 33 points away at the Box Hill City Oval.
Zak Butters, with 20 possessions, was named best-on-ground for the Jets, while Xavier O’Halloran was a defensive menace with 12 tackles to go with 27 possessions.
The firepower for the Jets was provided by Connor Thar (three goals), who had 26 disposals and 10 marks, Buku Khamis, Jake Hazik and Alex Bouris (two goals apiece).
The Jets return home to Burbank Oval on Sunday morning for a date with the Dandenong Stingrays.
In the women’s VFL, VU Western Spurs had a 27-point win over Geelong at Henry Turner Reserve, spearheaded by three goals to Alyssa Mifsud.
Sarah Jolly, Naomi Ferres and Danni Teasdale were superb for the Spurs.
