Western Jets will enter the NAB League wildcard weekend looking shaky.

The Jets had a dismal finish to the season, losing their final three home-and-away games.

The Ryan O’Keefe-coached Jets had to settle for a seventh-placed finish because of their late-season form plunge.

They will meet Greater Western Victoria Rebels in a wildcard game at Box Hill City Oval on Sunday for the right to feature in this year’s finals series.

The Jets will be keen to bounce back after a disappointing 32-point loss to Northern Knights at Avalon Airport Oval on Saturday morning.

Inaccuracy cost the Jets dearly – they finished with 4.12 for the game.

Archi Manton was the Jets’ only multiple goalkicker with three, while Aaron Clarke also kicked a major.

Darcy Cassar and Lucas Rocci were the chief ball winners for the Jets.

Cassar finished with a team-high 22 disposals, while Rocci had 20 disposals with five tackles.

All will be forgiven for the slump in the last month if the Western Jets can find their spark and beat the Rebels in the wildcard game.
