There are Northern Knights players aplenty in the Vic Metro under-18 training squad.

Eleven Knights have been named in the squad, the most of any TAC Cup team. The squad will be reduced ahead of the NAB AFL U18 Championships which start in June.

Knights’ skipper Nicholas Coffield leads those named. He’s joined in the squad by Max Dreher, Alex Federico, Joel Grace, Matthew Harman, Marcus Lentini, Patrick Naish, Joel Naylor, Ethan Penrith and late bloomer Jack Petruccelle.

The Calder Cannons have six players remaining in contention for the final team.

Rylee West, son of Western Bulldogs champion Scott, Noah Balta, Jack Bytel, Dylan Landt Mitchell Podhajski and Curtis Taylor are all still in the squad.

Western Jets’ co-captain Nicholas Stuhldreier is one of five Western Jets’ players named in the squad.

He’s joined by Lachlan Fogarty, Buku Khamis, Cameron Rayner and Tristan Xerri.
