Caroline Chisholm Catholic College’s volleyball team members, were crowned Premier League champions after beating four other north-west schools to take out the Sports Association of Catholic Coeducational Secondary Schools’ year 9 premier league boys competition.
The school beat Salesian College 3-0 in the grand final at RecWest Braybrook last month after going through the season undefeated.
The impressive feat was matched by the school’s premier league boys winning the year 7 title in term two.
Coach Sam Wood said winning this year was testament to the strength of the year 9 team, which missed finals last year.
It was the first time the Caroline Chisholm college had taken out the year 9 competition.
