Keilor Thunder has announced its first import for this year’s National Basketball League 1 South season.

Preparing for their second season in the competition, the Thunder has looked to strengthen its squad as it aims to climb up the ladder.

The club took to social media to announce the signing of Will Jenkins.

“Will attended Virginia Union, a highly rated division 2 school,” the club’s post said. “In his senior year he was named the conference defensive player of the year.

“His latest professional stint was in Luxembourg where he averaged 23 points at 50 per cent, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block per game.

“Will is a two way athletic forward who will have our home fans on the edge of their seats with his ability to block shots and throw down monstrous dunks.”

The signing of Jenkins is third for the Thunder’s men’s team.

Cirkook ‘Shaq’ Riak returns for the Thunder’s second season in the NBL1 competition.

He played in 21 games this year averaging nearly nine points and five rebounds a game.

Ollie Hayes Brown is joining the Thunder.

He had a decorated college career at UC Riverside before returning home and signing with the Perth Wildcats.

He has previously played for Dandenong and Willeton at NBL1 level where he averaged 22 points and 14 rebounds.

Hayes Brown has been a development player with the Perth Wildcats for the last two seasons.
