Taylors Lakes has bounced back in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association south-west to claim its third win.
After a poor performance with the bat in its last match, Taylors Lakes was keen to atone against Melton.
Taylors Lakes won the toss and elected to send Melton in.
It was a good move, as Taylors Lakes restricted Melton to 153.
Trent Waring was the pick of the bowlers taking 3-16 off nine overs, while Luke Denny also picked up three wickets.
It wasn’t an easy run chase with Taylors Lakes losing an early wicket.
The wickets fell through out, but Taylors Lakes was able to do enough, finishing 7-156.
Lachlan Marr was the star with 62 not out in the middle.
Taylors Lakes face Malvern this weekend, in the last round before the Christmas break.
