Stallions, Eagles and Wolves through to the next round

Brimbank Stallions, North Sunshine Eagles and Keilor Wolves are through to the next round of the Australia Cup.

The teams won through as round four matches continued this week.

The Stallions beat the Eastern Lions, 3-2.

The Lions opened the scoring and led 2-0 at half time.

Kym Harris opened the scoring for the Stallions in the 54th minute and they equalised three minutes later through Anthony Katiforis.

Adamson Ajayi scored the winner in the 77th minute.

The Eagles did most of the damage in the first half against Manningham Juventus.

Four goals within 15 minutes put the Eagles in control at half time. They would score again in the second half to win, 5-0.

Jakub Mlcak scored twice.

Keilor Wolves had a hard fought win against Westvale on Wednesday night.

The Wolves won 3-2.

The Wolves are one of the lowest ranked sides still in the competition.

Keilor Park lost 5-0 to Manningham United Blues.

The Blues scored two goals within the first five minutes to set up the win.

St Albans Saints and Melbourne Knights had previously already won through to the next round.

Green Gully’s match against Nunawading will be played Tuesday.
