Soccer fans and players urged to think pink

Caroline Springs soccer fans are being asked to think pink while they watch their favourites ‘run with the Stallions’ at a special charity event on July 31.

Spring Hills Football Club will hold a Think Pink Foundation fundraiser for breast cancer research at Springside Reserve, otherwise known as the Home of the Stallions.

The 24 scheduled matches will range from the under-10 level up to seniors.

“Most of our teams will be wearing pink socks on the day, and all will be playing with a pink soccer ball,” club spokeswoman Vicky Papamihail said. There will be plenty of children’s activities, a sausage sizzle and raffles.
