Green Gully’s playing list will look a bit different next season with the National Premier League announcing a number of departures.
The Cavaliers took to social media to announce that Mitchell Graham, Jordan Lampard, Danny Kim, Luc Jeggo, Alan Gerez, James Doyle, and Nahuel Bonada wouldn’t be returning next season.
The club statement said they had all each left an indelible mark on the club through their commitment on the field and their camaraderie off it.
“Luc Jeggo, in particular, has been a stalwart of Green Gully SC, with ties that trace back to his junior days,” the statement said. “His journey with us has been one of unwavering loyalty and exceptional service, embodying the spirit of Gully with every match played.
“Jordon Lampard also departs after three impactful years, during which he consistently demonstrated his skill and tenacity, becoming a fan favourite and a respected figure among his teammates.
“As we bid them farewell, we reflect on the memories created and the battles fought together.
“These players have not only contributed to the club’s legacy but have also inspired the next generation of Gully stars. We extend our heartfelt thanks to each of these players for their contributions and wish them every success in their future endeavours.”
The club is yet to announce any new signings.
The Cavaliers, who will again be coached by Stephen Downes, will be hoping to bounce back next season after missing out on finals.
After being in the top six for most of the year, the Cavaliers finished in seventh spot, one point behind sixth-placed Altona Magic.
