In just two games, St Albans is already on track to beat last season’s points total in the National Premier League after defeating Dandenong City 2-1 on Sunday.

A late 90-minute goal from Christopher Dib gave the Saints the lead before the final whistle blew at Churchill Reserve.

This has the Saints sitting on four points in fifth position on the ladder, after picking up just 10 points total last season.

In other games, Green Gully picked up a 1-0 win over Altona Magic on Friday night with Luc Jeggo scoring the winner in the first half.

The win marks the Cavaliers second for the season, keeping them undefeated.

And after winning 5-0 against Dandenong City last week, Melbourne Knights went down 3-0 to Avondale on Friday night.

Within three minute Avondale scored twice through Kristian Trajceski (72nd minute) and Liam Boland (75th minute) to extend the lead past one goal at Knights Stadium.
