New recruits for Braybrook

Braybrook has added two Western Region Football League division 3 team of the year players for next season.

The Brookers have been busy in recent weeks announcing a number of signings and re-signings.

Ricky Howell returns to the club after spending the season with Sunshine Heights, where he made the WRFL division 3 team of the year.

The midfielder kicked 24 goals for the season.

Dion Carabott will also join him at the Brookers. Carabott, who played for Laverton this year, was also part of that team of the year.

Carabott is a small bodied midfielder-forward who can work around the contest, break from stoppages and hit up the leading forwards.

The Brookers other two new signings so far are Mike Wilson and Rinor Zuzaku.

Wilson comes to the Brookers from North Sunshine where he finished second in their best and fairest.

The 22-year-old is promdemintely a ruck, who can also play forward.

Zuzaku comes across from Laverton and will add more flexibility to the side, with his tackling and gut running among his strengths.

The Brookers were sitting fourth when the season was called off due to the pandemic.

Vinnie Turcinovich has been reappointed as Brookers coach.
