Mick McGuane extends his stay at Keilor

Mick McGuane has put pen to paper on a contract extension with Keilor in the Essendon District Football League.

McGuane will coach the Blues until the end of the 2018 season, making it 11 years at the helm if he sees out the contract.

Meanwhile, Keilor thumped Airport West by 220 points in the premier division match at Hansen Reserve on Saturday, star forward Dean Galea kicking 11 of the Blues’ 40 goals.

Keilor remains second behind Aberfeldie and will host third-placed Essendon Doutta Stars at Keilor Reserve on Saturday.
