St Albans Saints and Melbourne Knights are both through to the next round of the Australia Cup after wins on Wednesday night.
Both teams entered the competition in this round along with the other National Premier League sides.
The Saints were impressive against FV state league 5 side Melton Phoenix.
It took the Saints until the 26th minute to score, with the side able to add another two before half time.
The Saints would score another one early in the second half, before Matthew Farrugia got one back for the Phoenix.
The going was made even tougher when Lachlan Stafford received a red card after his second yellow card leaving the Phoenix with 10 men.
The Saints would then pile on another three goals to seal the 7-1 win.
Melbourne Knights had a 3-2 win against Boroondara Eagles.
The Eagles scored within the first minute of the game to put the Knights on back foot. Atilla Olfli levelled the scores five minutes later.
A goal right before half time gave the Eagles the halftime lead.
Gian Albano scored twice in the second half to give the Knights the win.
Sydenham Park was knocked out of the competition by Upfield.
Upfield scored three first half goals to set up the win. Neither team would score in the second half, with Upfield taking away the 3-0 win.
Brimbank Stallions, North Sunshine Eagles, Keilor Park, Keilor Wolves and Green Gully will play their round four matches next week.
