Keilor Thunder NBL1 debut locked in

Keilor Thunder will make its National Basketball League 1 South debut at home against the Bendigo Braves.

The opening round of the season kicks off on April 21, with the Thunder to host the Braves on the Saturday night.

The women will kick off action at 6pm and the men will follow at 8pm.

The first round will also be the league’s first Anzac round.

Other key rounds include the pink round the weekend of May 6, the mental health round on the weekend of June 18 and the First Nations round the weekend of July 9 and 10.

There will be 16 rounds, with finals to begin in August.

The Thunder has been busy signing a number of new players for both their women’s and men’s teams.
