Green Gully record third straight win

Green Gully continued its winning form by defeating Eastern Lions 4-0 to pick up its third consecutive win in the National Premier League.

The win against the bottom-placed Lions also marked their second 4-0 win in a row after defeating Heidelberg United 4-0 last week.

In the opening game of the round on Friday night, St Albans went down 3-1 to second-placed Oakleigh Cannons playing away from home.

Melbourne Knights traveled to Paisley Park to play Altona Magic where they suffered a 1-0 defeat on Saturday evening.

After 12 rounds, the Knights sit in 10th position with a game in hand, while the Saints are in eighth and Green Gully are in fifth place.
