Sunshine Eagles returned to the winners list in Baseball Victoria summer league division 1 on Sunday.
After dropping their first two games after the break, the Eagles had a hard fought win against Essendon on Saturday.
After losing to Essendon in a mid week game, the Eagles won 1-0 in the second match up.
Jeremy Young was the Eagles best as he put out another strong performance.
The Eagles remain sixth on the ladder, but have the same winning percentage as fifth placed Malvern.
It’s another big week for the side, with a mid week game and a Saturday game, both against Fitzroy.
The Eagles women’s side continued on their winning way in division 3 west.
On Saturday, the Eagles were pushed by North Western Black, getting the win 12-10.
The Eagles remain undefeated, sitting on top of the ladder.
The Eagles this week face Essendon.
