Deer Park is through to the semi finals of the Victorian Turf Cricket Association T20 competition after a convincing win against Grand United on Tuesday night.

Deer Park batted first and made 7-131 from its 20 overs with Roshon Primus top scoring with 51 not out.

Milorad Konjevic took two wickets for Grand United.

Grand United were in the game at 2-51 before losing its last eight wickets for 26 to be bowled out for 77.

Jayden White-Powell top scored with 27 for Grand United, while Yoshan Kumara took three wickets for Deer Park.

While Deer Park is through to the final four, the T20 campaign came to an end for Sydenham-Hillside and PEGS.

Point Cook proved too good for the Storm.

Batting first, Point Cook made 6-123 from its 20 overs with Harmanjeet Bedi top scoring with 50 not out.

Storm skipper Ben Green took three wickets.

The Storm was bowled out for 106.

Ishan Dombagaha Pathirage top scored with 38 as only three players reached double figures.

Point Cook, which plays in division 3 in the normal competition, is the lowest ranked team left.

PEGS lost to Haig Fawkner.

PEGS made 8-109 for its overs with Gayantha Wijethilaka top scoring with 26,

Charith Mendis took two wickets for Haig Fawkner.

Haig Fawkner chased down the runs, finishing 4-114.

Warren Parker top scored with 27.

Haig Fawkner, which won last season’s competition, is one of two senior division sides left in the competition.

Aberfeldie, which is undefeated this season in senior division, accounted for Druids.

Jordan Kight continued his good form, making 64 as Abers made 5-132.

Nathan Johnson and Eamon Scott took two wickets each for the Druids.

The Druids fell well short, restricted to 9-103.

Oliver Willett top scored with 27.

A fixture for the semi finals is yet to be released.
