Deer Park continued its good form with a strong win against Bundoora RSL in Bowls Victoria pennant premier division.
Coming off a big win the previous week, the Parkers won three of the four rinks on the way to a 92 (16)-85 (2) win.
Ryan Tainton’s rink was the big winner on the day, winning 30-19, while James Pearce’s rink won 23-21 and Tyson Cromie’s rink won 2-18.
Nathan Bush’s rink lost 27-19.
The win moves Deer Park to the top of the ladder. The side sits one point clear of MCC
Meanwhile, Koby Cromie leads the player ladder having been involved with eight rink wins and a draw.
Tyson Cromie sits second with seven wins, a draw and a loss.
Deer Park’s second side also sits on top in division 2, section 1.
On Saturday, the Parkers defeated Yarraville Footscray (2) 73 (14)-71 (4).
Deer Park is five points clear of Melton.
In division 2, section 2, Keilor had a draw against Moonee Ponds.
Darrin King’s rink had an 18-15 win and Jason Silverii’s rink won 21-15.
Rajah Nithiananthan (19-23) and Mark Neicho (22-17) both suffered losses.
Keilor sits second,10 points behind Craigieburn
