Deer Park bounced back with a big win in Bowls Victoria premier division weekend pennant.

After losing the previous week, the Parkers won all four rinks on the way to a 92 (18)-60 (0) win against Mentone.

Ryan Tainton’s rink was the big winner on the day, winning 29-12, while Tyson Crombie’s rink won 25-16, James Pearce’s rink won 20-15 and Nathan Bush’s rink won 18-17.

The win sees the Parkers close the gap at the top of the ladder.

The side now sits second one point behind Melbourne and percentage ahead of third placed MCC.

In other results, Altona had a clean sweep against Croydon, Bundoora RSL claimed 15 points against Lilydale, Melbourne beat Yarraville Footscray and MCC had a big win against Clayton.

Keilor had a big win in division 2, section 2 against ladder leaders Craigieburn.

Keilor won two rinks and shared a third in the 75 (15)-68 (3) win.

The rink skipped by Jason Silveri was the big winner for Keilor, winning 25-8.

Keilor now sits in second spot, just three points behind Craigieburn.
