Community members concerned about dust, noise and odour issues in the Brooklyn area are invited to Brooklyn community representative group’s open house. Wednesday, March 8, 4-7pm at Brooklyn Community Hall, 2 Cypress Avenue, Brooklyn. All welcome.

Neighbourhood grants

Brimbank council is offering mini-grants to encourage residents to get to know their neighbours. Neighbour Day 2017 is coming up on March 26, and the council has 20 $250 grants on offer for residents who organise activities that connect neighbours with each other. Conditions apply. Applications close February 28.

Council meets again

The first Brimbank council meeting for the year is on tonight, February 21, starting at 7pm at Brimbank Community and Civic Centre. Find out how your local government works. Brimbank Community and Civic Centre, 301 Hampshire Road, Sunshine.
