Green Gully added to its fine 2022 National Premier League campaign defeating Dandenong Thunder 3-0 to go into third position on the ladder after 13 rounds.

The Cavaliers scored three second-half goals in the last 20 minutes to record their fourth-straight win playing at home.

On the other hand Melbourne Knights fell 1-0 short at home to Port Melbourne recording its thirds straight loss, which leaves them in 11th position on the ladder.

St Albans went into halftime trailing 1-0 to Altona Magic and ended up losing 4-0 on their home turf.

The loss marks their third in a row putting them in ninth place on the ladder.

In NPL women’s Calder United won 2-0 to Alamein at home which has them in second position on the ladder with four wins and two draws from seven matches.

In NPL 3 Western United defeated Ballarat City 4-1 away from home.

North Sunshine Eagles had a 0-0 draw to Melbourne Victory at home.
