Braybrook secures Craig Moore as netball coach

Braybrook has secured the experienced Craig Moore to lead its Western Region Football League netball program.

Moore has been involved in the sport since he was 10 and was able to work his way up to play first with the state team and then the national team.

He then turned his attention to coaching, having taken a number of leadership roles on and off the court previously.

Moore has coached for more than 13 years at all levels of netball.

He has coached both junior and senior teams, including both men’s and women’s competitions and had significant success at representative, state and international levels.

On their Facebook page, the Brookers said that Moore’s passion for the game has never wavered.

“Craig prides himself on being able to develop a rapport with players of varying skill and with diverse playing histories,” the post said.

“His aim is to bring out that something extra he sees in a players skill set, and develop a cohesive and strong team, while always maintaining that playful love of the game we all have.

“We welcome Craig to the Brookers family and can’t wait to be back at Whitten Oval on a Friday nights cheering on our teams.”

Braybrook had four netball teams this season, including two in division 1.

Both were sitting in the top four when the season was called off to the pandemic.
