Australia Cup heats up

There will be plenty of Australia Cup action on March 6 with 39 matches scheduled for the third round of the competition which was drawn on Thursday

A total of 79 teams were in the pool for this round, with Beaumaris receiving a bye and going through to the next round.

Teams from as high as state league 1 have entered the knockout competition at this stage.

Several Brimbank teams are among them.

Keilor Park will face Meadow Park, Westvale will take on Knox City, Brimbank Stallions will play Sandringham and Caroline Springs George Cross will host the Essendon Royals.

There will be two all Brimbank matches, with Westgate to play Keilor Wolves and Sydenham Park taking on Western Eagles.
