The Sunshine Eagles got back on the winners list in the Baseball Victoria premier league competition on Tuesday night. After losing to the Williamstown Wolves on Sunday, the Eagles bounced back against Blackburn on Tuesday night winning, 8-2. After nine rounds, the Eagles were in third spot. The Eagles were set to play Essendon on Saturday, after deadline.

Keilor Wolves have announced a new coach for next year’s FV state 4 west season. Slavče Sokolovski will take on the coaching reins bringing a wealth of experience to the club. He has previously coached Altona Magic’s under-13-16 and under-21s and was assistant coach for the Magic’s senior squad. The Wolves finished fourth last season, having finished runners-up the season before.

Keilor Thunder’s Grace Graham is continuing to make inroads with her basketball career. Having returned from college this year, Graham, who played with the Thunder in the National Basketball League 1 season, signed as a training partner for the Melbourne Boomers for the Women’s National Basketball League which is currently underway. The Thunder announced on social media that Graham has now been promoted to a development player for the current season and for the 2024-25 season.

St Albans has announced that former North Melbourne and Collingwood player Atu Bosenavulagi will line up for the club for next year’s Essendon District Football League division 1 season. Bosenavulagi signed with the club for this year but didn’t play a match due to other commitments. The Saints said on social media that Bosenavulagi was committed for next year in a big boost for the club which is hoping to improve on an elimination final performance. Former Hillside captain Jackson Volpato and Shepparton Bears utility Tyler Bell have also joined the club.
