Keilor Park is seeking a new coach for next season’s Victorian Turf Cricket Association division 2 season. The Devils are looking for a spirited coach to take charge of the senior men’s program from the 2023-24 season onwards. St Albans has announced its first international signing ahead of the Victorian Turf Cricket Association senior division season. Englishman Nils Priestley, is a hard hitting left handed top order batsman and also front line left arm finger spinner, who has previously contracted with Derbyshire and has previously played four list A games. In the past two years he has racked up more than 1200 runs. The news comes with the Saints having already announced a new captain-coach Shafraz Mohammed and the signings of Ashen Abeykoon and Akila Ishanka.

Bowls

Deer Park’s Koby Cromie has been named the Bowls Victoria under-18 male bowler of the year. Cromie, who was part of Deer Park’s premier division premiership, won gold at the under-18 nationals and two golds at the under-18 state championships. Cromie also played every test in the 12 months for the Victorian under-18 team.

VNL

The City West Falcons winning streak continued on Wednesday night in the Victorian Netball League championship division. Facing the Geelong Cougars, the only team to beat them this season, the Falcons came away with a solid 67-58 win. Jane Cook continued her good form with 57 goals from 58 attempts. The Falcons remain on top, with a 9-1 record, percentage ahead of the Boroondara Express. The Falcons this week face the Boroondara Express in a top of the table clash.
