James Bonnici drives for Deer Park, which fell just two wickets short of lifting the premiership cup in its Victorian Turf West B1 grand final against Kingsville Baptists at the weekend.
After holding a five-run advantage from the first innings, Deer Park was dismissed for 189 in its second dig, Bonnici making 38, leaving Kingsville a victory target of 195.
Kingsville made the runs in 66 overs for the loss of eight wickets.
