It was a tough day at the office for Sunshine in Sub District Cricket on Saturday, the Crows being bowled out for 38 in just 24.5 overs against Altona.
The visitors then grabbed first innings points in the match at Dempster Park before declaring at 4-102 and putting Sunshine in again.
The Crows did a little better the second time around, reaching 0-20 by stumps and determined to continue on in preventing an outright loss this week.
Batting first, the Crows slipped to 5-19, Altona opening bowler Andrew McCammond taking all five wickets to finish with 5-16 from nine overs.
But there was no respite for the Crows when McCammond took a break, as James Grubb then took three wickets for four in his 3.5 overs.
Altona is currently sixth on the ladder but an outright win this weekend could catapult it as high as third.
Sunshine is in 14th spot with just one win for the season.
