VSDCA: Sunshine Crows in finals blow

Sunshine has been dealt a blow to its Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association finals aspirations with a 17-run loss to top-six side Noble Park at Dempster Park on Saturday.

The Crows were set a challenge of scoring at better than four runs an over in their limited overs run chase and could not meet the target.

Set 169 for victory in the 40-over-a-side game, the Crows were held to 8-151.

Troy Stone was the stand-out batsman for the Crows with 71 not out off 97 balls.
