NWMCA: Kealba/Green Gully’s unbeaten streak ends

Kealba/Green Gully suffered its first loss of the North West Metro Cricket Association season, going down by five wickets to Pascoe Vale Central in the George Luscombe Shield.

Kealba posted 8-172 from its 40 overs, with Balraj Randhawa top-scoring with 35. But Pascoe Vale chased the target down in 37 overs.

Tristan Krizanic took 3-41 for Kealba.

Also in the NWMCA George Luscombe Shield, Sydenham/Hillside had a heartbreaking three-run loss against Gladstone Park.

Sydenham bowled Gladstone Park out for 146 in 39 overs but fell agonisingly short of the total in the chase, bowled out for 143 from 37.4 overs.

Rohan Keats (3-6) and John Kulikowski (3-15) did much of the damage for Gladstone Park.
