KEILOR Thunder ran away with a 79-63 win over Coburg Giants in the Big V Basketball men’s division 2 at the Keilor Basketball Stadium on Saturday night.
The out-scored the visitors 28-18 in a pulsating final period. Andrew Freeman had a monster night for the Thunder with 34 points and 22 rebounds to be the game MVP. Matthew Jukes and Matt Spencer starred at both ends.
Third-placed Thunder visit fourth- placed Mornington Breakers in a Saturday night showdown at the Mornington Basketball Stadium.
