ST Andrews was outclassed by flawless Werribee Centrals in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association west B1 grand final on Saturday.
Coached by Jake Buttigieg, the Saints (90 and 6-70) conceded defeat on the third day at Laverton Park after falling a long way behind the undefeated Centurions (256).
It was a historic summer for the Braybrook-based Saints, promoted to north A1 for the first time in what was their 70th anniversary season.
