Chloe Singh got the opportunity of a lifetime when she interviewed world number 33 tennis player Donna Vekic via Zoom.
Chloe was set to toss the coin before a match at the Australian Open, but when that was cancelled due to COVID-19, she and 11 other young tennis stars got the opportunity to interview their tennis heroes online.
Seven-year-old Chloe said she was excited to speak to Vekic.
The Sydenham Tennis Club player said her favourite part was getting to ask her questions, including asking Vekic if they could have dinner together.
While Vekic said yes, Chloe was unsure if that would go ahead.
Chloe, who has grown up playing tennis, said playing rallies were her favourite part of the game.
Deer Park Tennis Club’s Musemma Cilek was one of six young stars to interview world number three Naomi Osaka.
