Brimbank carers are being invited to participate in a free wellbeing lunch from the comfort of their own homes to mark Carers Week.
Carers Week is an annual initiative recognised nationwide that aims to recognise and celebrate the Australians who provide care and support to a family member or friend.
This year it’s running from Sunday, October 10 to Saturday, October 16, with the theme “million reasons to care”.
On Wednesday, October 13 from 1pm to 3pm, Brimbank council is hosting a wellbeing lunch via Zoom.
It will include a presentation from wellness specialist Debbie Castellano, and be hosted by local carer Jenny Willis.
Carers who live in the Brimbank municipality will have lunch delivered to their homes.
Registration is required by Friday, October 8.
