The fourth ‘We Are Brimbank Awards’ have officially opened for nominations on Monday, July 18.
The awards feature five different categories that look to celebrate groups and organisations in Brimbank who strive to make a difference across the region.
The categories include Culture, Arts & Tourism Award, Environment & Sustainability Award, Employment & Enterprise Award, Inclusive Brimbank Award and Learning Excellence Award.
Mayor Cr Jasmine Nguyen welcomes this year’s awards, saying it’s a great way to celebrate the people and potential of the city.
“We love these awards because they recognise the hard work, great projects and community groups who make outstanding contributions towards community life.
“These awards are a fantastic way to pay tribute to the groups and organisations who are making a positive difference to Brimbank,” said Mayor Nguyen.
The awards are set to be judged by a panel of community leaders and winners of this year’s awards will be announced Friday October, 28 2022.
